Keeping manufacturing processes safe
When the UK division of a global manufacturing enterprise came to us needing a complete temperature management solution hire or rental, we had the answer.
With people flowing differently across offices, distribution and factory floors, a high level management approach was needed. Discreetly installing ScanTekk Crowd Cameras in key locations enabled all entrances to be covered for various departments with central control from the perspective of human resources. Facial Recognition was already in place for clocking in systems so we not only gave overall visibility to staff members who might have a high temperature, but employees were already used to and trusted the technology behind the system.
Keeping the conference doors open
Every hospitality partner we work with has different unique requirements, whether that be from an installation perspective or challenges to the overall implementation.
With ScanTekk Crowd, the flexibility of placement enables discreet deployment of temperature monitoring in style conscious areas.
Conferences pose a particular challenge with high volumes of people making their way through customer areas at one time. By measuring up to 16 people at any one given time, we eliminate the bottleneck with conventional temperature management practices and allow guests to flow freely through the venues. This was particularly important in the Ramada Hotel as there is a significant mix of private and corporate guests that need to be checked quickly, accurately and discreetly for them to carry on with their activities.
Carry on batting
Frenford Clubs in Essex, UK were looking for a solution to collectively manage the temperatures for their members and was the first active Kiosk to be launched in an environment of both adults and children. The particular challenge here was the wide variations in height which we overcame by adjusting the range of detection further, so that younger members didn’t have to move the head of the kiosk down to be scanned. Knowing that the device was being used by children, the privacy-first deployment meant that parents could rest assured knowing that no data was being collected while they were attending.
Is it safe?
Infrared light is 100% safe for everyone. The non-invasive and safe nature of thermal imaging enables thousands of people to be scanned every hour with no contact whatsoever. We can also disable the audible alarm to provide a more discreet way of interacting with your customers.
Is it secure?
A standard configuration doesn’t store any data but in configurations where configuration is safe, it is stored securely on the local machine and protected by a comprehensive security suite.
It is accurate?
Both the Kiosk and Crowd version of ScanTekk have been validated in house to be at least 99.25% accurate to within 0.3 degrees Celsius when compared to the reading from the same point with a FDA approved thermometer.
